My heart beats faster and faster as time goes by
why did you have to tell me that dreadful lie

we had perfection and the greatest love of all
why couldn’t I miss that devastating call

you told me you loved me and you broke my heart
now im sitting in my own prison slowly falling apart

I gave you everything and treated you like a queen
